Tuesday, July 25 – Eleanor Friedberger w/ TEEN at Radio Radio — Great show from MOKB Presents. Former Fiery Furnace Friedberger’s new solo record is outstanding. Excellent opener in TEEN.
Wednesday, July 26 — Several choices this night, including Polyphonic Spree and Trails and Ways. My pick is Family of the Year and Pacific Air at Radio Radio.
Thursday, July 27 — IndyRockLive.com and The-Instore.com Present Mardelay, Estocar, and Faux Paw at the Melody Inn. Mardelay’s first show in quite a while. Seattle’s Estocar make angular Talking Heads-like rock, and Faux Paw recently put out a great album on Jurassic Pop. Come on out!
Friday, July 28 — Listen Local w/ We Are Hex, Burnt Ones and 2150 at Broad Ripple Park and/or KO with Way Yes, and Street Spirits at White Rabbit Cabaret. Can’t go wrong.
Saturday, July 29 — Party in the Park w/ Matt & Kim and JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound — Back to the park for another fun show.
Tuesday, July 2 – Ian McLagan w/ the Easthills at Birdy’s — Small Faces legend McLagan stops in at Birdy’s.
