The holiday weekend is, as usual, chock full of live music options. To see a full list, check Do317.com. For my tastes, just two stand out:
Wednesday, July 3 – Adam Marsland at the Melody Inn: One of the most criminally underrated singer/songwriters ever. Marsland has been producing memorable songs for decades, now solo and previously with his amazing band Cockeyed Ghost. Here’s a rare opportunity to see the California performer in Indy.
Friday, July 5 – Americanama featuring Bob Dylan, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, and Richard Thompson at Klipsch: What a bill! One of the few truly impressive festival-like shows. I’d go see each one of these performers/bands individually. Leap at the chance to see them together.
